Gold Leaf and Enameled Crystal Dressed Chandelier
An eight-light antique chandelier from a northern New Jersey estate built in the 1950s. The frame is a combination of wrought iron and brass in a glazed green painted finish, highlit with gold-leafed foliate elements. The metalwork is dressed with cut crystal pendalogues, beads, and spears. The large bobeches are pierced and inset with small crystals. The piece is lit with an uplight in the center cup as well as eight candelabra uplights on the arms. Due to the antique nature of this fixture, there may be some nicks or imperfections in the glass.
